FUDAKOCHI ANNOUNCES HIS “ALIEN LOVE [EP]” WILL BE RELEASED ON FEB. 14TH

As the turn of a new year arrives, Fudakochi (pronounced Foo-dah-co-chee) announces he will release his "Alien Love [EP]” on Feb 14th. Following up the single bearing the same name, the [EP] will feature 7 songs written, produced and performed by Fudakochi. With his “Alien Love [EP]”, he has created an extremely organic and moving body of work. Fudakochi brings back the idea of the concept project with shear brilliance as he takes you on a musical journey through love, space and time. He tells the story of lost love and his journey to recover his soul mate and his child. This search is taking place simultaneously as he is defending his planet, Soulternative, from being destroyed. The planet Soulternative is at war and it’s during this time of turmoil that his space odyssey begins. The “Alien Love [EP]” is the catalyst of a 3 part epic musical adventure. Get your hearts, minds and ears prepared for the Soulternative Trilogy, which will be delivered via 3 separate concept [EP] releases. Each [EP], “Alien Love”, “Egyptian Lotus Flowers” and “Welcome to Soulternative” will reveal more to the story in a timeline of events. Each song will tell each act of the story and each [EP] will tell the continuing chapter in continuity. The "Alien Love [EP]” is part I of the Soulternative Trilogy. These releases will be digitally distributed globally on his own Rocsoulfully Records, in association with Powerblast Worldwide. It will be available on iTunes, Amazon MP3 and all other online retailers.

For those not familiar with Fudakochi or his music, he’s a combination of psychedelic soul and heavy alternative rock. He’s an up and coming singer/songwriter/producer who hails from Miami, Fl. He was raised in a family of musicians, where he began singing and playing the piano at the age of 7. With musical influences ranging from pure soul to heavy rock n’ roll; he always knew that one day he would take part in the family trade. Fudakochi, a Japanese name that was given to him at birth means: strength, love and honor. He conveys these characteristics though his music. It is though his musical style and lyrical content that you will hear his love for music and love for self.

- See full biography for more details about his background.

Fudakochi is currently prepping for a very busy 2012. In addition to recording his own new works, he also found time to produce and perform all of the music for the album, “Welcome to the Renaissance”, which is the brainchild of Miami, FL based poet/spoken word artist, Marcus Blake. The entire project was recorded and mixed by Fudakochi at his own Rocsoulfully recording studio. Marcus Blake recorded this project under his alter ego, Sosa Black. On Jan 10th, you may hear the musical production of Fudakochi on “Sosa Black: Welcome to the Renaissance". It’s being released digitally on the Rebel Mpire records imprint.

Shots Fired! Beware of racist white cops.

A young black male, Robbie Tolan, was shot coming home New Years Eve in a Houston, Texas suburb by a racist white cop. The incident occurred right in front of Tolan's home and was witnessed by his cousin who was with him at the time. The officer, who did NOT identify himself or turn on his squad car lights, claimed that Tolan's car was stolen even though the the two young men advised that this was their car and their house they were in front of. When the parents of Tolan, who were home, came outside to see what was happening, the officer assaulted Tolan's mother. Tolan, who was more than 15 feet away, told the officer to NOT push his mother. At that time the officer pulled his gun and shot Tolan. The officer fired two additional shot but missed. Tolan is in intensive care with the bullet lodged in his chest.

Note:
This is the 2nd Black man to be shot by officer(s) since the turn of the year. I guess their pissed off that Obama is about to take office and are taking it out on us.

Be careful out there brothaz......

Why do many people prefer to "LOOK" good as opposed to "LIVING" good?

I Ponder this:

When was the last time I had a good conversation I took something meaningful away from?

Why does it seem like muthafuckaz these days will spend 10 hours talkin' about bullshit like Gucci, Coogi, Juicy Couture, Louis, Marc Ecko, etc. but shy away from truly intellectual topics. or maybe it's just me. It's possible that only I notice this. I hope not. Try talking about community change and reevaluating our economic spending habits. Ha-Ha. Chances are your friend will look at you stupid. Like "what?, I'm talking about the new Sean Jean..." lol "I can't be thinkin' about global warming..." I gotta be on point for this weekend too. But I dress well and I'm blessed no to have to try so hard. I don't worry or talk about it, I just look good. Yes. I'm an arrogant fuck! Sue me. I just don't think it takes a days worth of airtime to discuss fashion. Oh, unless fashion is your business. Is it? Do you work in the fashion industry? NO! Shut the fuck up about it then. You are a consumer. You buy shit; and more shit. But let me ask you: Is there anybody home? or do you identify yourself by what you are wearing this weekend? Is there anything on you mind worth exploring? Can you carry a conversation that has nothing to do with clothing? I challenge you to try. I welcome it. How can we be better parents to our children? How can we live more healthy lives? Do we really need yet another reality show? Is there anything intellectually stimulating on television? or is "E!" it? What's really going on in Iraq? What's the real news story? What really happened? Are you voting for Hillary or Barack? or that other republican fuck? Whichever, let's talk about it.

Get at me!
